These sheet were great fun to do!
I think rolling the inplements created some very interesting results, especially the feather.

I had selected the images and samples over the last few weeks but it took quite a lot of time to print the
photos, moount everything and add doodles.

Chapter 7
I am quite pleased with my stitched design but I could have varied the spacing of the lines and the size of the circles.
My written sample. Neither of the stiched pieces resemble this!!
this sample was workred on a transfered dyed piece. I used lime green, lemon and turquoise but everything came out green. The fabric puckered with the wider stittch settings.

Chapter 6
I enjoyed working these samples. They gave me the opportunity to experiment and use fabrics and threads from me stock - things iIbought because I liked them but did'nt have a purpose in mind!
I got really boggged down with this idea. I could'nt reduce it to a reasonable size without loosing the opportunity to stitch the points. It became too much about construction and not about Prairie Points. It helped to leave it and have time to reflect before making a decision.
I decided to develop an alternative design...............
I included some metallic threads to add interest as the points would be quite small. I love the extra dimension they give to stitching and I'm pleased with my finished sample.
