Chapter 6
I enjoyed working these samples. They gave me the opportunity to experiment and use fabrics and threads from me stock - things iIbought because I liked them but did'nt have a purpose in mind!
I got really boggged down with this idea. I could'nt reduce it to a reasonable size without loosing the opportunity to stitch the points. It became too much about construction and not about Prairie Points. It helped to leave it and have time to reflect before making a decision.
I decided to develop an alternative design...............
I included some metallic threads to add interest as the points would be quite small. I love the extra dimension they give to stitching and I'm pleased with my finished sample.
